As well as installing the aforementioned technology, there will also be a series of complementary preventive actions taking place. These are compatible with the action plans for the vulnerable zones that have been designated within the framework of the Nitrates Directive:
- Application of an IT tool so that farmers can optimise their nitrogen fertilisation and irrigation systems.
- Training and advice regarding the different agricultural uses for implementing and maintaining biorolls; applying the IT tool and setting up good practices related to the prevention of nitrate pollution coming from agriculture.
